Behind the lens on a documentary photography project, capturing the now demolished Meadowbank velodrome in Edinburgh, which was constructed for the 1970 Commonwealth Games. The repetitive nature of track cycling offers a great design vernacular to work within. I reflected some of the experiential and visual motifs from track cycling in the design of the book itself, from the typography on the cover to repeating the exact layout of spreads throughout. The finished book was created as a one-off, unique work, printed on off-white paper and ring-bound at the Glasgow School of Art.
